The building itself is located withing the Cultural District of Iowa, and was originally belonged to Fairfield Feed Co. started in the 1920′s by the John Jackson family. During World War II, the basement served as the Fairfield community bomb shelter, with solid construction deep underground. In the early 90′s, Greenfield Properties renovated the iconic feed building, converting it to elegant, modern office space.
